Crafty Boots Challenge: Nautical theme!

Hey everyone! So are you ready for your first Crafty Boots Challenge for April!! This challenge has been set by Emma M and it to create a crafting masterpiece that has a nautical theme!!

So today i have my design team offering to share with you, featuring the beautiful 'a la carte' stampet 'Sail Away' which is available for just £8.95 from the main catalogue:

To create the cardbase i ran some 'Night of Navy' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Stripes Embossing Folder'. I stamped the boat image onto a piece of 'Whisper White' cardstock using 'Night of Navy' ink. I mounted this onto a piece of 'Real Red' before gluing it onto the cardbase.

On a seperate piece of 'Whisper White' i stamped the 'happy birthday' sentiment from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set, again inked in 'Night of Navy'. I handsnipped the 'Whisper White card into a flag shape and then mounted this onto a piece of 'Real Red' card, again cutting it into a flag shape. Before gluing this onto the cardbase i punched two holes using my 'Crop-a-dile' and placed through two 'Real Red' 'Brads'.

I hope you like my creation. I can't wait to see all your creations!! Don't forget to enter them into the Crafty Boots Challenge!
