Stop Monkey-ing Around!

Don't forget the stampin up retirement sale is only on for this month. Many items are on sale and everything on the list is going for good. In other words 'you snooze, you lose'

One item that already has sold out is the favourite set 'Fox and Friends'

At the weekend I went around my crafty friend Jades and we used this set one last time to make this card:

On a 'Crumb Cake' card base (trimmed shorter on the front) we layered a piece of 'Chocolate Chip' card edged along one side using the 'Scallop Trim' Punch. We then layered a piece of 'Pool Party' card, with a stamped sentiment from the retiring 'Happiest Birthday' stampset.

We then punched out three branches using the 'Two Step Bird Punch' from 'Old Olive' cardstock and glued them into place. Finally we stamped three monkeys from 'Fox and Friends' onto 'Crumb Cake' card using 'Chocolate Chip' ink. We cut these by hand and glued them into place.

As I said this stampset is now out of stock. Don't miss out on other retiring sets you love. Check out the list on the right hand side of my blog NOW and then email over your order: amyjtidd@gmail.com

An Elegant Peacock Feather Card!

Today i have a card to share with you that i made for my good friend Jen for her birthday! I just love how it has turned out!!

It features the beautiful peacock faether image from the 'Natures Nest' stampset:

I stamped the feather over the 'Indigo Island' cardbase using the same colour ink to create a background. Then on  square of 'Whisper White' card i stamped the feather image twice using 'Island Indigo' and 'Elegant Eggplant' 'Stampin' Write Markers' and placed some tiny 'Basic Pearls' to embellish. I stamped the sentiment (from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set) using 'Elegant Eggplant' ink and then mounted it all onto a piece of 'Elegant Eggplant' card. Before gluing this onto the cardbase i cut a strip of 'Whisper White' 'Satin Ribbon', folded it over and pierced an 'Antique brad' through it.

I hope Jen likes the card and has a brilliant birthday!! And don't forget if you want to order the beautiful 'Natures Nest' stampset do it today by emailing me: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Crafty Boots Challenge: Tweet Tweet!

Hey all! Another Crafty Boots Challenge for you and this one has been set by ME!! The challenge is called 'Tweet Tweet' and what i'm looking for is a card that features a bird!!

I managed to actually find time in my very busy schedule of being a new mummy to make this card for my Mum's birthday, so here is my DT offering:

On an 'Island Indigo' cardbase i stamped the circle image from the 'Mixed Bunch' stampset to create a background. I then layered a strip of 'Whisper White' card and then a thinner strip of 'Elegant Eggplant' card ontop. Onto this i layered a 'Island Indigo' flower punched out using the 'Blossom Punch' and then ontop of this i stamped a flower image from the 'Mixed Bunch' set using 'Island Indigo' ink, punched it out using the stamp and secured it in place using 'Dimensionals' to raise it 3D. I embellished the flower using 'Basic Pearls.

Next i cut a strip of 'Island Indigo' card and punched along on edge using the 'Eyelet Border Punch' and glued this across the card. On top of which i layered a piece of 'Whisper White' card with a sentiment stamped on it from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set (inked in 'Elegant Eggplant')

Finally to comply with the bird element of the challenge i punched two birds out using the 'Bird Builder Punch'. I stamped the centre of the flower image from the 'Mixed Bunch' set onto the birds wings before securing them in place with 'Dimensionals' and placing some teeny 'Basic Pearls' in the centre. Finally i drew some eyes on the birds using my 'Elegant Eggplant' 'Stampin' Write Marker'.

I look forward to seeing your 'Tweet Tweet' birdy creations!! And don't forget if you want to make a stampin up order drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com. DON'T FORGET THERE IS A PROMOTION ON THIS MONTH - CHECK OUT THE TOP OF THE BLOG FOR INFO ON HOW YOU CAN GET A FREE STAMPSET WITH YOUR ORDER!!

Creating butterflies from the 'Mixed Bunch' stampset!!

As soon as i got my hands on the 'Mixed Bunch' stampset i HAD to have a go at creating butterflies from the stampset!!

I made this card for my good friend (and crafty partner in crime) Jade, as it is her birthday today!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JADE!!

This is how i made the card:
I used the 'rock and roll' technique using 'Daffodil Delight' and 'Pumpkin Pie' ink to stamp three flowers from the 'Mixed Bunch' stampset and punched them out using the 'Blossom Punch'. I snipped two petals off of each one to create some butterflies and then placed three 'Basic Pearls' down the centre of each one to create the butterfly bodies!!

The cardbase is 'Pumpkin Pie' which i folded over the top and ran through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Stripes Embossing Folder'. I stamped the sentiment from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set using 'Lucky Limeade' ink on the top of the cardbase, then wrapped some 'Lucky Limeade' 'Ruffled Ribbon' around the base and tied a bow and then glued the three butterflies in place!!

I just love the idea of using the stampsets and punches in an alternative way and just love the way these butterflies have come out!! I can't wait to make some more!!

Don't forget if you LOVE this 'Mixed Bunch' stampset and coordinating 'Blossom Punch' as much as me then make sure you get your order in ASAP as they're in the summer mini catalogue and there is NO guarantee that they will be in the the new catalogue that will be launching next month - so email your order over today: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Happy 30th Lisa!

On the 31st July it was my cousins fiancee Lisa's 30th birthday and so today i have the card i made her to share with you:

The cardbase i used is 'Lucky Limeade'. On which i layered a pice of 'Whisper White' card. On a seperate piece of 'Whisper White' i stamped the flower image from the 'Mixed Bunch' stampset three times using 'Pool Party' ink and then punched it out using the cooridnating 'Blossom Punch'. I layered two of these straight onto the 'Whisper White' base, trimming the edges slightly. I punched some 'Lucky Limeade' and 'Island Indigo' card again using the 'Blossom Punch' to create the leaves and another flower, which i glued in place and then glued the 'Pool Party' on top. I then stamped the circle image from the set using 'Island Indigo' ink, punched it out using the '3/4" Circle Punch' and then placed a teeny tiny'Basic Pearl' in the centre! Finally i ran some 'Island Indigo' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Timeless Type Alphabet Dies' to create the '30' which i glued to the corner of the card. To finish off the card i stamped the sentiment (from 'Happiest Birthday Wishes') on a seperate strip of 'Whisper White' using 'Island Indigo' ink and handsnipped the edges!.

I haven't featured this stampset before it uses the wonderful 'Mixed Bunch' stampset - which i completely LOVE!!! And the brilliant thing is that it comes with a coordinating punch!!!!

This is a must have for you craft kit - and being in the summer mini catalogue - there is NO guarantee that it will be in the new stampin up catty - so if you want it you really should order it THIS MONTH!! Email me to place your order today: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Punchart: Beer Mug Card!

Hey everyone! Yesterday was my step-dad Johns birthday. So i thought today i would share with you the punchart card that i made for him.

I have to be honest it is not an original idea. I followed a tutorial by Tami White change a couple of the punches and the embossing folder Tami used as i didn't have them to hand! So here's the card:

The cardbase is 'Whisper White' on which i layered a piece of 'Early Espresso' card which i ran through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Square Lattice Embossing Folder' to create texture. The beer much has been made from 'Very Vanilla card (find the dimensionals by following Tami's tutorial - link above) and rounded the corners using the 'Corner Rounder', the handle is also made from 'Very Vanilla' card punched using '1-3/4" Circle Punch' (and i had to use a button lid to draw around as i didn't have the larger punch that Tami used) Next cut some strips of 'So Saffron' card and round the edges and glue them into place to make the beer!

The sentiment has been stamped from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set onto some 'Whisper White Card and then mounted onto some 'Early Espresso' and glued into place.

Finally i had to make the beer froth! This was created by punching shapes out of some 'Very Vanilla' cardtsock using the '1-3/8" Circle Punch', '1-1/4" Circle Punch' and '1/2" Circle Punch', which i edged using a 'Sponge Dauber' loaded up with some 'So Saffron' ink and then arranged them into place. (Note i used some 'Dimensionals' to raise some of the froth bubbles!!)

If you would like to make this card and would like to order the products to make it then drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

A Natures Nest Tortoise Card!

In my preperations for Baby Tiddlywinks i have made lots of cards to send out for the months of July, August and September. It is quite likely that at some point over the next few months with little sleep and a little bundle to look after we may accidently forget to send a card to someone so pre-empting this i have made a card especially for that occassion:

I began with a 'More Mustard' cardbase. I then cut a piece of 'Soft Suede' ink which i stamped over with the 'Woodgrain stamp' using 'Chocolate Chip' ink. On a piece of 'Whisper White' i stamped the tortoise image using 'Chocolate Chip' and coloured it in using 'Always Artichoke' and 'More Mustard' 'Stampin' Write Markers' and some ink and 'Blender Pens'. I also  stamped the sentiment from the 'Happiest Birthday wishes' set on some 'Whisper White' card. I layered both of these onto 'More Mustard' and 'Always Artichoke' card.

I actually love the layout and the colour combo of this card. I don't often use the 'Regals' collection but will have to make more of an effort to do so in future!!

Don't forget if you would like to order any stampin up goodies feel free to email your order over to me: amyjtidd@gmail.com (check out the July promo at the top of my blog!!)

Embossing Tinfoil! A motorcycle card!

I love experimenting with techniques and products. I also love playing with everyday household items!! You may have seen on a previous blogpost i embossed tinfoil and used it on a card. My friend Jade saw this technique and it inspired her to create the card i want to share with you today, which we made at Jades recent craft class!!

Now i have to warn you - although effective - this card is fiddly and not necessarily a card for any perfectionist to attempt! The hardest part is neatly cutting the tinfoil, as it is very delicate, then you run it through the 'Big Shot' in this case using the 'Lattice Square Embossing Folder'. We layered this onto a 'Soft Suede' cardbase.

Next up we stamped the 'happy fathers day' sentiment from 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' (but you could of course use any of the other sentiments to suit the purpose of the card) and the 'it's your day' stamp from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set, using 'Old Olive' ink onto 'Old Olive' card. We placed three silver 'Brads' along the edge and then glued this piece of card to the bottom of the card,

Finally we stamped the motorcycle image (using 'Early Espresso' ink) onto 'Whisper White' card, we coloured in the image using an 'Old Olive' 'Stampin Write Marker' and then cut this out using the 'Big Shot' using the 'Labels Collection Framelits Die' and then mounted it onto a bigger 'Label' cut from 'Old Olive' card.

Don't forget - you can order Stampin' Up! products through me - why not take a peek at the catty's on the righthand side of this blog. Write up your wishlist and email it over: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Motorcycle Card

Hey, i'm back again today with another masculine card - it seems right to feature lots at the moment, what with Fathers Day approaching this weekend. Hopefully i will inspire you to get out your craft stash and make a special card for your Dad (if you haven't done so already!)

Todays card is actually a birthday card, but with a change of sentiment you could easily create a fathers day card! I had a bit of a creative block, but with a bit of google searching a came across this beautiful design and couldn't resist CASEing it from this blog:

On a 11.5cm x 11.5cm square of 'Whisper White' card i stamped the sentiment in the top lefthand corner (from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set) using 'Early Espresso' ink. Next i stamped the fab A La Carte 'Motorcycle' stamp. I inked it up with 'Early Espresso' ink and stamped it three times WITHOUT reinking the image (i used the 'Stamp-a-ma-jig' tool to carefully line it up! The bow has been created from some (sadly retired) 'Early Espresso' 'Satin Ribbon' (although you could use 'Chocolate Chip' ribbon instead.) I mounted this onto a slightly larger square of 'Early Espresso' card and then mounted it all onto a 'Crumbcake' 12.5cm x 12.5cm cardbase.

If you struggle to create cards for men, consider purchasing the 'a la carte' 'Motorcycle' stamp. It is such a lifesaver for creating masculine cards:
And its a complete bargain at £7.95!! If you'd like to make an order email me today: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Need For Speed!!

Hey all, today i have another masculine card to share with you, featuring the brilliant stampset from the main catalogue - 'Need For Speed':

I created the background by running a piece of aluminium foil through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Square Lattice Embossing Folder', tearing it a little and then mounting it onto a 'Night Of Navy' cardbase.

On a piece of 'Real Red' card i stamped the car image using 'Night of Navy' ink. I cut this out using one of the 'Framelits Label Collection' and then mounted it onto a larger label from 'Night of Navy' card (also cut with the 'Label Framelits' Die) and secured it into place using 'dimensionals' to create a 3D effect.

I stamped the sentiment from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set using 'Real Red' ink (onto 'Whisper White' card, snipped this into a flag shape, then mounted this onto 'Real Red' and then 'Night Of Navy' card. I punched two hole using a 'Crop-a-dile' and placed 'Real Red' 'Brads' through them, before securing it in place also using 'dimensionals'.

I just love this stampset - a perfect set for Father Day!!
If you would like to order this set or anything else from the main or summer mini catalogue drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Everybody Loves A Pinata!!

Hey all! Long weekend! Woo hoo! I have a lovely day today - had a crfaty session around a Stampin' Up! pal of mine Fionas - she was hosting her mini catty party today (before jetting off to the States for a couple of days - lucky thing!!!) We made a lovely card featuring 'The Open Sea' set (page 19 of the new Summer Mini Catty) I haven't got around to photographing this card yet so check back in a day or two to view this card! This afternoon i went out shopping with my Sis, Nan and Dad and brought lots of bits for Baby Tiddlywink!!!

Anyway... today i have another card to share with you using the 'Packed For Birthday' stamp that i featured yesterday. This stamp is absolutely fab because you can use it as a complete whole or for individuals componants - for this card i just stamped out the pinata element of the stamp:

Onto a 'Wisteria Wonder' cardbase i layered a piece of 'Melon Mambo'. Onto a piece of 'Whisper White' card i stamped the sentiment (from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set) using 'Melon Mambo' ink.

On a seperate piece of card i stamped the pinata element of the 'Packed For Birthday' stamp...

using 'Basic Black' ink and then coloured it in using a range of 'Stampin' Write Markers' ('Wisteria Wonder', 'Melon Mambo' and 'Pretty In Pink') I cut out the pinata by hand and then glued it into place using some 'Dimensionals' to create a 3D effect. Before gluing down the 'Whisper White' card to the cardbase i used some of the new 'Wisteria Wonder' 'Bakers Twine' to create the string and bow to hang the pinata!!

Before i go today i have to share with you some of the fab accessories that are available in the new Summer Mini Catalogue, including the 'Bakers Twine' from the Summer Mini Catalogue (see page 22) It is just fab and such a bargain at just £2.50 per colour and you get approx 22.9m!!! It's available in six different colours: White, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder' and 'Island Indigo':

Also pictured above is the beautiful 'Jelly Bean Brads' (See Page 20) and the beautiful coordinating 'Sweet Shop DSP' (See page 21).

Why not take a look at the fab Summer Mini Catalogue! There is an electronic version of the catty on the righthand side of the blog. 'Packed For Birthday' Card!

Hey all, a very late post for me - i have recently turned nocturnal. I'm almost 28 weeks pregnant now and finding it increasingly difficult to sleep.

I've just got back from my crafty pal Jade's house, we had a lovely eating, scoffing pizza and eton mess, making a few new cards from the new mini catty and we helped Jade's friends Tori and Macca make 60 wedding invites - so all in all a very productive craftfest!!

Tonight i had a chance to play with the brilliant 'A la Carte; stamp 'Packed For Birthday'. If you don't own that many crafty bits and are looking for one versatile birthday stamp to get you started this may be the stamp for you...

It's one stamp that can be used as a whole or you can use all the different componants! And for just £8.95 i think it is complete value for money!!

So tonight i have a card that uses this stamp as a whole:

On an 'Elegant Eggplant' base i layered a piece of 'Old Oliver' which i ran through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder'. Next i stamped the sentiment - from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' (using 'Elegant Eggplant' ink onto some 'Whisper White' card and punched it out using the 'Decorative Label Punch' and then layered a strip of 'Elengant Eggplant card.

On a piece of 'Whisper White' i stamped the 'Packed For Birthday' stamp in 'Basic Black' ink, coloured it in using a range of 'Stampin' Write Markers' and mounted it onto a piece of 'Old Olive Card. Before gluing it onto the 'Elegant Eggplant' card i punched out two 'Old Olive' 'Decorative Labels', punching a whole in each using the 'Crop-a-dile' and then placing a 'Rich Razzleberry' 'Brad'  and placed them underneath.

If you would like to purchase this stampset (or any other products from the main or summer mini catalogue - see electronic versions on the righthand side of this blog) then email over your order straight away: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Birthday Wishes For Harry!

Tomorrow is Harrys birthday! Harry is our friend Rory and Poppys little boy and i can't quite believe that he will be 2 tomorrow!!

Harry (and his brother Jack) are very good friends with our two cats Dewey and Crazy!! and so i knew i had to create a card that incorporated a cat in it somewhere, so i used the  wonderfully versatile 'Every Little Bit' stampset to create this card:

On a 'Tempting Turquoise' cardbase i stamped the birthday wishes sentiment from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set onto the righthand bottom corner. Next i layered a piece of 'Whispr White' cardstock edged using the 'Eyelet Border Punch', onto which i glued a strip of 'Pacific Point DSP'.

Onto some 'Whisper White' card i stamped the dog, teddy bear and cat (all from the 'Every Little Bit' set) using 'Basic Black' ink and then coloured them in with a range of my 'Stampin' Write Markers'. I punched these images out using the '1-1/4" Circle Punch', then layered them onto some '1-3/8" Circles' punched from the same 'Pacific Point DSP', finally layering them onto the three 'Tempting Turquoise' 'Scallop Circles'.

I hope Harry has a fab birthday tomorrow and gets spoilt rotten!!!

X-Box Birthday Card!

Today i have a card for the guys, my hubby and all of his friends are X-box fanatics. So it made sense to make my hubby's best friend, Dave a birthday card along the XBox theme. I originally attempted to cut out a cardbase shaped as an X-Box controller, but quickly got fustrated by my complete inability to cut in a straight line, so headed to trusty Google to seek an alternative design and ended up CASEing a card by CraftingClaire.

This card is inspired from an X Box controller. The cardbase is 'Very Vanilla'. The 'Birthday Wishes' sentiment is from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset inked in 'Basic Gray' onto a strip of 'Very Vanilla' and then mounted onto a strip of 'Basic Grey' before being glued onto the card base. Next i punched out four '1/2" Circles' from 'Real red', 'Pacific Point', 'Certainly Celery' and 'So Saffron' card on which i drew on by hand (using the same colour 'Stampin' Write Marker' an 'A','B','X' and 'Y' and attached them in place using 'Dimensionals' to create a raised 3D effect. I then punched out several '1/2" Circles' from 'Basic Grey' card and randomly glued them in place across the card.

I simple card which goes to show you don't need a huge craft stash to create the perfect card for people you know. Thats the great thing about making your own cards - you can assure they completely suit the recipient you're sending them to!

I hope Dave had a great birthday on Monday!

Perfect Mothers Day Creation! Jades Flower Pot Card!

Back again with another creation that we made at Jades craft event last weekend. It was great fun! Each attendee designed a craftymake from Stampin' Up! products and brought the materials with them to share with everyone else!! Jade is planning to arrange another day like this in a couple of months time. Let me know if you would like to attend and you can come along as my guest!

Today i have Jades make which i have to say i love!! It is the perfect mothers day make!! It's a flower pot card which has largely cased  from Amy Celona at Ustamp4fun:

The flower pot has been created from some 'Crumb Cake' cardstock' cleverly folded and cut. Edged with the 'Scallop Trim Border Punch'. We ran some 'Very Vanilla' 'Seaming Ribbon' around the pot. The sentiment is from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset (inked in 'Elegant Eggplant') and then punched using the '1-3/8" Circle Punch'. We layered this onto an 'Elegant Eggplant' 'Scallop Circle' before gluing it onto the pot!

The flowers are from the 'Vintage Vogue' stampset and have been inked with 'Perfect Plum' and 'Blushing Bride' onto 'Whisper White' card and then cut out and mounted with dimensionals onto the insert created from 'Whisper White' and 'Elegant Eggplant' card stock:

Additionally we added some foilage which has been punched out of 'Old Olive' card using the 'Two Step Bird Punch' and a lovely butterfly that has been cut using the 'Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die' from some 'Melon Mambo'. I couldn't resist adding some 'Basic Pearls to the flowers and butterflies for a bit of bling. Notice as well we stamped the foilage stamp from the 'Vintage Vogue' set in 'Old Olive' ink onto the insert as well! This insert could be used to write a message or even as a beautiful bookmark!

Now finally ... you may be wondering how this creation is standing up - as it is clearly not your conventional card design. Well here you go:

A cleverly folded strip of 'Elegant Eggplant' card props this card up on any mantelpiece!!

Thanks Jade for sharing this fab design with us! It was great fun to make and it would be perfect for any occassion - a birthday, mothers day or even a get well soon card!!

Fionas Spice Cake TopNote Card!

Today i have a fabulous card to share with you that a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator Fiona shared with us at Jade's craft get together last weekend. It features the totally versatile 'Top Note Die' and the fanciful 'Spice Cake DSP' from the Spring Mini Catalogue:

I  haven't used this papers before but i have to say i've been completely converted. I love the vintage seventies feel that these designs have to offer!!

So here is the beautiful card we made:

We used a 'Soft Suede' cardbase and folded it in half and then folded the front side of the card in half again to create this unusual card design.

Here's a front few:

We layered some 'Spice Cake DSP' on the front 1/4 of the card, a strip on the edge of the inside edge and the edge on the lefthand edge. To create the front of the card we ran some a piece of 'Soft Suede', a piece of 'Spice Cake DSP' and 'Very Vanilla' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Top Note Die'. I cut around the 'DSP' 'Top Note' perforated edge to create a smaller top note shape and mounted it onto the 'Soft Suede' 'Top Note' and then glued it onto the front of the class. In the centre of this i placed a 'Soft Suede' 'Scallop Circle', some 'Very Vanilla' 'Seaming Ribbon' and then stamped the birthday sentiment (from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset' in 'Soft Suede' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' card, punching it out with the 'Scallop Circle Punch'.

We stamped the small flower image from the 'Spice Paisley' stampset all over the inside of the card using 'Soft Suede' ink to create a background and then glued the 'Very Vanilla' 'Top Note', stamping another small flower in the corner.

Here's a view of the completed card open, so you can hopefully make sense of my wittering instructions!:

I really enjoyed playing with these papers. Thankyou Fiona for sharing this wonderful creation with us!! I will most definately be using this type of layout again! Watch this space!!

And don't forget products in the mini catalogue are only available until the end of April so if you want to get your crafty mits on these fab papers then make an order sooner rather than later!!! Email me today: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Jades Punch-Art Pig Card!

Hi all,

Hope you are all having a fab weekend. I've had a lovely day with my sister shopping and out for a spot of lunch, as well as visiting some of my family!! No time for crafting today - although i plan to do lots tomorrow!!

Today i have a brilliant card to share with you that was created by my crafty friend Jade:

This punchart pig card is absolutely amazing, i'm sure you'll agree!! Jade cleverly created the pig from 'Pretty in Pink' card (and some 'Whisper White' for his eyes!) using the 'Owl Punch' and the 'Round Tab Punch'. The details have been drawn on using 'Stampin' Write Markers'. The pig has been layered on a 'Calypso Coral' 'Scallop Circle Punch' and a 'Wisteria Wonder' '1-3/8" Circle' that has been ran through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder'. All of this has been layered onto some 'DSP' which has been edged using the 'Eyelet Border Punch'. The hearts were also created using the versatile 'Owl Punch'. All of this was placed onto a 'Pretty in Pink' cardbase. The sentiment is from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset!!

Such an amazing card and it just showcases how versatile the Stampin' Up! punches are! There are lots of punches to take your pick from in both the main and mini catalogue. Why not take a browse now!!

I'm hosting a crafty coffee morning on the 28th January so if you would like to come along and have a try of some of the punches you will be more than welcome!! Email me for details now: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Today i have ANOTHER cupcake card for you - i have to be honest i think i'm addicted to the 'Cupcake Punch'!! So here you go:

So, today a 'Tempting Turquoise' cardbase with a strip of 'Tempting Turquoise' 'DSP' across the middle. The sentiment is from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset, inked in 'Tempting Turquoise' onto 'Whisper White' card and then mounted onto some 'Daffodil Delight' punched with the 'Decorative Label Punch' and then positioned in the bottom righthand corner of the card. Next i ran some 'Daffodil Delight' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Pennant Die', layered up a 'Tempting Turquoise' '1-3/4" circle' ontop. The cupcake was created using the yummy scrummy 'Cupcake Punch' created from some 'Daffodil Delight DSP', 'Tempting Turquoise' card and some 'Whisper White' card for the icing on which i have added some sprinkle detail on using some 'Stampin' Write Markers'.

This card features just one of the fab new punches (although i'm afraid until tomorrow i can't give you any specific details - can you work out the new product?!)

A 'Whisper White' cardbase, this card uses a strip of 'Pacific Point' 'DSP' has been layered across the middle. Three '1-3/4" Circles' punched from 'Bashful Blue' cardstock and then the lovely cupcakes have been layered ontop.

The sentiment is stamped in 'Real Red' ink using a stamp from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' set and mounted onto a rectangle of 'Real Red' cardstock.

I hope you're as excited as me about the launch of the new products!! I'm in the process of organising a crafty coffee morning for all my local customers so you can all have a play - watch this space for details.

I will put an electronic copy of the new mini catty up tomorrow for you all to browse through! If anyone would like their own 'real' paper copy to flick through email me your postal address and i'll pop one in the post for you! My email is: amyjtidd@gmail.com

See you back here tomorrow!!
