A Fresh Vintage Sale-a-bration Card!

So todays card features the beautiful 'Fresh Vintage' stampset and the 'Everyday Enchantment DSP' - both of which you can get for FREE!!!

To create this card i firstly ran the front of the 'Crumb Cake' card base through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Polkadot Embossing Folder' to create the textured card front! I layered a piece of 'Poppy Parade' and then a piece of the beautiful 'Everyday Enchantment DSP'. On a piece of 'Very Vanilla' card i stamped the stunning flower image from the 'Fresh Vintage' stampset using my 'Stampin' Write Markers' ('Pear Pizzazz', 'Poppy Parade', 'Pool Party' and 'Peach Parfait') I used a 'Sponge Dauber' with some 'Chocolate Chip' to distress the edges a bit' and then mounted this onto some 'Poppy Parade' card. Finally the sentiment comes from the wonderful 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set, inked in 'Chocolate Chip' onto 'Very Vanilla' card and then punched out using the 'Word Window Punch' (raising it up with a 'Dimensional' to create a 3D effect!)

A Sale-a-bration Easel Card!

Hey all, busy day today - first one back to work after my illness. I'll let you know how i get on!

Today i have an easel card to share with you featuring three of the five SALE-A-BRATION products that are going at the end of the week - boo hoo!!

The cardbase is 'Crumb Card'. I layered two pieces of the 'Everyday Enchantment DSP'. The 'Thanks' sentiment comes from the 'Outlined Occassions' SAB stampset, inked in 'Pear Pizzazz' onto 'Pear Pizzazz' Card and then punched out with the 'Decorative Label Punch', it's raised using 'Dimensionals' to make a prop for the card. I stamped the flower image from the 'Fresh vintage' SAB stampset - inked using several 'Stampin' Write Markers' ('Pool Party', 'Pear Pizzazz', 'Poppy Parade' and 'Peach Parfait') onto 'Very Vanilla' card and mounted onto some 'Pear Pizzazz'.

So this week i'm intending on sharing with you some projects using the Sale-A-Bration sets that i made during a lovely crafty session around Jades today!!

So here you go with my Sale-a-Bration offering for today:

This card is a 'Pear Pizzazz' cardbase, i layered some 'Whisper White onto. The sentiment is from the 'Petite Pairs' set - inked in 'Chocolate Chip'. I punched several squares of 'Everyday Enchantment DSP' (a SAB item) using the 'Postage Punch' from the Mini Catalogue and layered them up and glued them into place. I stamped four flowers from the 'Fresh Vintage' stampset (Another SAB stampset) in 'Pear Pizzazz' and 'Peach Parfait', i cut out the centres of two of the flowers and then placed some 'Basic Pearls' in the centre and put them into place using some 'Dimensionals' to create a 3D effect!

You will notice a theme to this weeks cards beyond the SAB - Thanks. As you know it was my birthday last week, plus i have been unwell and been looked after by so many people so i need to Thank A LOT of people!! Check back tomorrow for another card!!

Aldershot Womans Institute Workshop - tonight!

Hi all! I've just got back from Aldershot Womans Institute Group where i was demonstrating Stampin' Up! products and then we made two make and takes!
The projects that i demonstrated were variations of 'Sale-a-bration' cards that i have shared with you recently using the 'Fresh Vintage' stampset, the 'Elementary Elegance' stampset and the beautiful 'Everyday Enchantment DSP'.

Here's the first card we made using the 'Big Shot', 'Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder' and the 'Textured Impression Embossing Set':

The cardbase used on this card is 'Crumb Cake', the embossed background has been made from 'Pool Party' card and the sentiment has been stamped in 'Early Espresso' ink onto 'Very Vanilla' card.

Here's the second card:

The cardbase has been made from 'Pear Pizzazz' card. On a piece of 'Crumb Cake' we stamped the floral stamp from the 'Fresh Vintage' stampset using 'Crumb Cake' ink. The borders have been punched using 'Calypso Coral' punched using the 'Eyelet Border Punch'. The butterflies have been punched using the 'Butterfly Punch' from 'Everyday Enchantment DSP', with some 'Linen Thread' tied around each one, and a 'Basic Pearl' placed in the centre. Finally the sentiment (from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set) has been inked onto a piece of 'Pear Pizzazz' card and punched out using the 'Word Window Punch', with a couple of teeny tiny 'Basic Pearls' placed either side.

I had a brilliant evening and loved that the ladies made the design their own! I really wish i took my camera to take some pics of their wonderful creations!!

'I don't do crafty things but i did make two cards with Stampin' Up!'

A Fresh Vintage Postage Card!

I just love the card i have to share with you today - it is another card using the beautiful 'Fresh Vintage' sale-a-bration stampset!!

This card started life as a 'Whisper White' cardbase. I ran the bottom of the cardbase through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder'. I placed a strip of 'Soft Suede' card along the middle and then a strip of the sale-a-bration 'DSP' - 'Everyday Enchantment' over the top. Finally on a small piece of 'Whisper White' i stamped the stamp stamp (does this even make sense?!) using 'Poppy Parade' cut it out by hand and then mounted it onto a 'Scallop Square' punched from 'Soft Suede' card. Raising it with a 'Dimensional' to give it a 3D effect! Finally i stamped the 'hello' sentiment from the 'Elementary Elegance' sale-a-bration stampet in 'Soft Suede' ink - you could of course place any sentiment here making it a completely versatile card!!

Sale-a-brate .... it's Friday!!

Hey all - it is Friday!! woo hoo! I'm really looking forward to tomorrow as i'm hosting my mini catalogue crafty coffee morning! Lots of regular customers are coming along as well as a few new ones which i'm really excited to meet! I can't wait to share my love of crafting and Stampin' Up! with everyone and have a yummy scrummy cupcake card for everyone to make!!

Today i have yet another Sale-a-bration creation to share with you using the wonderful 'Fresh Vintage' stampset that i have been showcasing this week:

This card pretty much uses ALL the stamps in the set!! On the 'Tangerine Tango' base i stamped the border stamp in the same colour (although it doesn't really show up on the photo unfortunately.)

On a rectangle of 'Whisper White' i stamped the flower image several times, using 'Red Riding Hood' and 'Pear Pizzazz' 'Stampin' Write Markers'. I then punched out two strips of 'Pear Pizzazz' using the 'Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border' and layered the 'Whisper White' over them. Next i ran a piece 'Red Riding Hood' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Beautiful Butterlies Die', stamped it randomly with the flower stamp using 'Versamark' and then 'Clear Embossed'. Finally i stamped the central image onto 'Whisper White' card using 'Tangerine Tango' ink and then also in 'Pear Pizzazz' punching out the central circle using the '1/2" Circle Punch'. These were raised on the centre of the card using a 'Dimensional' to give a 3D effect.

It all sounds more complicated than it is!! But i just love this stampset and it is most definately on my wishlist!!

Sale-A-Bration: Fresh Vintage Butterfly Card!

Hey all! Today i have ANOTHER fab card created using one of the lovely stampsets that you can earn for FREE with every £45 purchase of Stampin' Up! products!! (This deal is available from the 24th January til the 31st March'.

This week i'm showcasing the beautiful 'Fresh Vintage' stampset and the card i have to share with you today also features the 'Everyday Enchantment DSP' that is also available in the Sale-A-Bration deal!!

And here is the card that i made using them:

This card started life as a 'Crumb Cake' cardbase! On a piece of 'Baja Breeze' i stamped the foilage stamp from the 'Fresh Vintage' stampset randomly all over it! Before gluing it onto the cardbase i punched a strip of 'Pear Pizzazz' card using the 'Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch' and then glued it underneath!

The three butterflies have been punched out of the Sale-A-Bration 'Everyday Enchantment DSP' using the 'Butterfly Punch'. Before gluing them down i wrapped some 'Linen Thread' around the butterflies and placed a 'Basic Pearl' on the centre of each one! And you may notice that on the green butterfly i stamped on the flower stamp (in 'Soft Suede' ink).

Finally i stamped the 'get well wishes' sentiment from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set onto some 'Crumb Cake' card using 'Soft Suede' ink. I punched this out using the 'Word Window Punch' and placed two teeny tiny 'Basic Pearls' either side of the sentiment!!

Sale-A-Bration: Fresh Vintage

Hello all! Have you managed to look at the Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration promotion yet! It's a great deal which means that you can earn a FREE stampset of pack of 'DSP' with every purchase of £45! So here is the first 'Fresh Vintage' card:

A 'Basic Grey' cardbase, which has been stamped three times with 'Basic Grey' ink using one of the 'Fresh Vintage' stamps. On a piece of 'Whisper White' card i stamped the swirly foilage stamp on the diagonal in 'Pear Pizzazz' ink, and mounted this onto some' Pear Pizzazz' card. I punched a 'Fancy Flower' from 'Blushing Bride' cardstock - scrumpled it up a bit and then placed a lovely 'Antique Brad' in the centre. Finally the sentiment (from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set) has been inked in 'Basic Grey' onto a strip of 'Pear Pizzazz' which has been handsnipped at the edges. I placed two teeny tiny 'Basic Pearls' such to finish it off!!
