Hiya all, another day and another craft challenge! I have to say that i'm really loving being involved in them - and it is a great way to spark some crafty creativity!! Today's challenge that i'm entering is the
Stamping 411 challenge which is a sketch:
and here's my take on the challenge:
The great thing about the Stamping 411 blog is that they even gave your the dimensions to make this sketch!! The cardbase used is 'Certainly Celery', i have layered some 'So Saffron' ontop. Then cut three pieces of 'DSP' from the 'Play Date' collection'. I have run a piece of 'Grosgrain Ribbon' across. Finally i have stamped the owl (using 'Chocolate Chip' ink) from the 'Forest Friends' stampset onto some 'Very Vanilla' card and punched it out with a '1-3/8" Circle Punch', layering it onto a 'So Saffron' 'Scallop Circle' (I have punched out the smaller holes using my 'Crop-a-dile'. I have attached this using some 'Dimensionals' to raise it slightly.
I have to say i love the 'Play Date' 'DSP', it can be used in so many ways - in large 12x12 sheets it looks so bold in its design, but with a little bit of chopping it looks so different!!
I love this layout - it's definately one i'll be filing away for future use! Thanks Stamping 411!
