A dress made from the Scallop Die!

A girly card to share with you today! A dress card made using the 'Large Scallop Circle Die':

I started off with a square 'Whisper White' cardbase. On which i layered a piece of  'Concord Crush' card and a smaller strip edged using the 'Scallop Trim Border Punch'.

The prom-style dress was created using the 'Large Scallop Circle Die' using the 'Big Shot, from some 'Melon Mambo DSP', which i cleverly cut into a dress shape. Before gluing it down i wrapped a piece of 'Whisper White' 'Organza Ribbon'.

Finally i stamped the sentiment from the 'Petite Pairs' stampset onto some 'Whisper White' card using 'Melon Mambo' ink and punched it out using '1-3/8" Circle Punch' which i layered onto a 'Melon Mambo DSP' 'Scallop Circle' using 'Dimensionals' to create a 3D effect!

Crafty Boots Challenge: Material!

Hey all, i'm back with this fortnights Crafty Boots Challenge. This time you are challenged to make a card featuring material on it somewhere. I loved this challenge as it was a great excuse for me to get out and play with my new Stampin' Up! fabric from the 'Summer Mini Catalogue': 'Twitterpated Fabric'.

I made this card for my cousins little girl Summer, who had her christening yesterday - i hope she had a lovely day!!

Onto a 'Marina Mist' square cardbase i glued in place a piece of 'Certainly Celery' card which i cut with my 'Big Shot' using the 'Large Scallop Die' and then embossed using the 'Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder'. I placed some 'Basic Pearls' in the centre of each of the embossed flowers to add a little bling!!

To create the butterfly: I mounted some of the beautiful 'Twitterpated Fabric' onto some card using the 'Sizzix Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets' and then ran it through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Beautiful Butterflies Die' (again, i couldn't resist adding some pearls!) Finally i printed the 'on your christening' sentiment using the computer onto some 'Whisper White' card, punched it out using the '1-3/8" Circle Punch' and then mounted it onto a 'Pretty in Pink' 'Scallop Circle' gluing it in place with a couple of 'Dimensionals' to give it that 3D effect!

If you would like any details on any of the products used, or would like to place an order then drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

I look forward to seeing all your Crafty Boot Challenge entries!!

We demo'd the 'Twitterpated Fabric' card that i used at my crafty open house last weekend:

This card features a range of products from the new 'Summer Mini Catalogue', including the 'Framelit Dies', 'Twitterpated Fabric', 'Adorning Accents Embossing Folder', 'Apothecary Art' stampset, 'Bakers Twine', as well as the 'Beautiful Butterflies Die' and the 'Heart Punch' from the main catalogue! This card was very warmly received by the ladies!!

Today i have a card to share with you that also features the 'Twitterpated Fabric': an anniversary card that i made for our two friends Rob and Iwona - it is their anniversary in a couple of days time...

I cut a 'Certainly Celery' cardbase using the 'Large Scallop Die', i embossed this cardbase using the 'Elegant Bouquet Embossing Folder'. I placed 'Basic Pearls' in the centre of the flowers. Next i mounted some 'Twitterpated Fabric' onto some card using 'Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets' and then cut the two butterflies out using the 'Beautiful Wings Die' and then placed some 'Basic Pearls in the centre of each of the butterflies! I punched some small hearts out of some 'Red Riding Hood Card' using the 'Owl Punch' and glued them into place. Finally i stamped the sentiment from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes', punched it out using the 'Word Window' punch and glued it into place. I hope Rob and Iwona like this anniversary rocker card and have a lovely day!

Just for 'Ewe' : A Punny Punchart Sheep Card!

Hey all, have you missed me?! Sorry I didn’t post yesterday – I have had a completely hectic week – working frantically marking mock exams for my A2 students and also prepping for a mammoth crafty workshop tomorrow (with 24 ladies!!) But I’m back with a card to share with you now!!
Today I have a card to share with you that I made for my good friend Ruth, who has been going through a tough time recently. She is the queen of punchart so know she will appreciate my efforts :
Onto a 'Whisper White' cardbase, i mounted an 'Old Olive' piece of card and then a smaller square of 'Marina Mist' to create the sky. Next up i created this cute little sheep created using the ‘Owl Punch’ punched from ‘Basic Black’ card, white ‘Scallop Circle’  body and ‘Word Window’ legs!!
I have placed this little sheep on ‘Scallop Die’ hills created using the ‘Big Shot’ from ‘Certainly Cerlery’ and ‘Old Olive’ card. I have sprinkled some flowers punched from ‘Regal Rose’ card , using the ‘Boho Blossoms Punch’ each with a ‘Brad’ placed in the centre!

Finally on a piece of 'Whisper White' i stamped the sentiment from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set, selectively inking the 'just for' from the 'just for you' stamp and then handwriting the punny 'ewe' using a 'Stampin' Write Marker'
I’m totally In love with the ‘Owl Punch’ it is completely versatile and can be used in so many ways!! I CAN’T wait to show you more projects that I have made with it!

A Card For A Cool Rider!!

So today i have a card to share with you for all your 'Motorcycle' fanatics!!

The cardbase has been created from some 'Night Of Navy' cardstock that i shaped into a 'rocker' card using the 'Large Scallop Die'. I then ran it through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Polkadot Embossing Folder' to add texture to it!!

On a piece of 'Whisper White' card i stamped the 'Motorcycle' stampset using 'Early Espresso' ink. I ' partially coloured the 'Motorcycle' using 'Pear Pizzazz' ink and a trusty 'Blender Pen'. The sentiment is from the 'Tagtastic' stampset which i selectively stamped using an 'Early Espresso' 'Stampin' Write Marker'. I mounted this onto a piece of 'Pear Pizzazz' card using some 'Dimensionals', before gluing it onto the cardbase.

A nice, simple card for any 'Motorcycle' enthusiast!!

If you like the look of the products used on this project - why not make an order today. Email it over to me ASAP to take advantage of the April promotion (a FREE pack of 'DSP' with orders of £45) Drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Kat's Piggy Card!! (Featuring the 'Button Buddies' stampset!)

Hey everyone! I hope you're having a fab weekend! I'm having a completely restful one involving lots of crafting! Today i have a card to share with you that was designed by a new crafty pal of mine Kat, who has recently signed up to Stampin' Up! simply to get her crafty mits of the super-value starter kit! (Did you know you could do that?! You can buy the kit without any obligation at all to make sales and you could customise your kit to suit your styles! If you're interested and would like some more details just email me: amyjtidd@gmail.com )

Kat actually chose the fab 'Button Buddies' stampset as one of her sets in the starter kit and i was very excited that she designed a card using this set and shared this with us during yesterdays crafty session! Here it is:

Isn't it soooooo cute! The cardbase has been created from some 'Very Vanilla' cardstock that has been folded and then run through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Large Scallop Die'. Next we ran a strip of  'Certainly Celery DSP' through the 'Big Shot' with the same die, then snipped it to create some grass and glued it into place!

On a piece a 'Very Vanilla' we then stamped the super cute pig from the 'Button Buddies' stampset using 'Rose Red' ink, cut him out and glued him into place. We then stamped out another piggy out and cut out just the nose (sounds a bit cruel i know!) and then raised it using 'Dimensionals' to create a 3D effect!!

Finally we stamped the 'happy birthday' sentiment (from the 'Create-a-Cupcake' stampset) using 'Rose Red' ink onto some 'Very Vanilla' and punched it out using the 'Word Window Punch' and again used 'Dimensionals' to glue it into place.

I just love this card and enjoyed using some new products that i don't personally own. Although i have to say the 'Large Scallop Die' and the 'Button Buddies' stampset are now firmly on my wishlist - maybe i'll be lucky and get them for my birthday next week!!

Thankyou Kat for sharing this cute piggy with us!!!

Check back to my blog tomorrow as it is time for another Crafty Boots Challenge to be announced!!
