A girly card to share with you today! A dress card made using the 'Large Scallop Circle Die':
I started off with a square 'Whisper White' cardbase. On which i layered a piece of 'Concord Crush' card and a smaller strip edged using the 'Scallop Trim Border Punch'.
The prom-style dress was created using the 'Large Scallop Circle Die' using the 'Big Shot, from some 'Melon Mambo DSP', which i cleverly cut into a dress shape. Before gluing it down i wrapped a piece of 'Whisper White' 'Organza Ribbon'.
Finally i stamped the sentiment from the 'Petite Pairs' stampset onto some 'Whisper White' card using 'Melon Mambo' ink and punched it out using '1-3/8" Circle Punch' which i layered onto a 'Melon Mambo DSP' 'Scallop Circle' using 'Dimensionals' to create a 3D effect!

Baby Shower RSVP!
If you're a regular CraftyThinker follower you will probably have gathered that there has been quite a baby boom within my friendship group and many of the recent craft projects i have shared have been baby themed - i'm afraid i have another baby themed card for you today!! i have recently been invited to a baby shower, which will be held in September and made this card to RSVP:
I began with a 'So Saffron' cardbase. I wrapped a piece of beautiful 'White Organza Ribbon' around a piece of 'DSP' from the 'Domestic Goddess' collection and layered it onto the cardbase. I stamped the cot image from the 'Little Additions' stampset using 'Crumb Cake ink and then punched a little heart out of 'So Saffron' card using the 'Owl Punch'. I layered this onto some 'Certainly Celery' card and then onto the base. I stamped the RSVP sentiment from 'Wedding Sweet' set and punched it out using the 'Word Window Punch'. I embellished the card with some coordinating 'Designer Buttons' along the edge of the card!
Babies, Babies everywhere!! I love the fact i'm getting lots of use out of my 'Little Additions' set which my good friend Jade treated me to for my own baby shower
I've been playing with it quite a lot recently and it has so many uses - other than baby cards - i can't wait to share some of these with you - so keep your eyes peeled on this blog!!
Don't forget if you'd like to make an order email me: amyjtidd@gmail.com and don't forget to check on the July promotion where you can earn free ribbons and brads with your orders!! (See the top of my blog for details!!)

Baby Shower Candle!!
I can't believe i haven't posted this sooner. As you may well know a couple of weeks ago i had my baby shower and my friend Cate made me this lovely candle as a gift using the fabby 'Babys Prints' stampset from the 'Summer Mini Catalogue':
Such a beautiful gift!! Thankyou so much Cate! It is currently sitting pride of place in Baby Tiddlywinks nursery as the colours perfectly coordinate with the decor!!
I can't wait to have a go at stamping onto candles - beware everyone - guess what you'll all be getting for christmas!!!
Cate used a plain church
candle and stamped the super cute baby foot prints and the sentiment from the 'Baby Print' set onto white tissue paper. The tissue paper
was then attached to the candle using heat from her 'Embossing Heat Gun'!! How clever!!
To finish she gift wrapped it in cellophane and added some bows (created from 'White Organza Ribbon' and 'Baja Breeze' 'Seam Binding Ribbon'. She made a label from parchement paper and 'Baja Breeze' card, Cate embossed the baby foot print and the sentiment using 'White Embossing Powder'.

Happy Birthday Suzanne - a pillow box for a gift!
Hey all! What a brilliant weekend i'm having - the perfect end to Easter hols - reality hasn't yet sunk in that i am back to work tomorrow. Yesterday we went to our friends wedding and had a great time and today we're off out for a pub lunch to celebrate my best friend Suzanne and also her hubby Andy's birthday! Happy days!
Now, i cannot post the card i made for Suzanne as i'm planning on using it for a design team offering in the next Crafty Boots Challenge, i can however share with you the lovely bright pink 'Pillow Box' that i made to pop her gift in...
This is such a quick and simple project to create! I simply ran some 'Melon Mambo' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Pillow Box Die'. Before constructing it i stamped two flower images from the 'Fruit and Flowers' stampset in 'Rose Red' ink. I constructing the box using one strip of 'Red Sticky Tape'. Popped Suzannes gift in and then wrapped a strip of the beautiful 'Whisper White' 'Organza Ribbon' around it! I just love that ribbon! And with a quick colour change/ image change suitable as wedding favours!!
Now, just a quick reminder that this Spring mini catty is only available until the end of the month - so that means if you want the fab 'Fruits and Flowers' stampset:
(or any of the others within the mini catalogue) you must order ASAP! So check out the catty on the righthand side of my blog and email your order over to me straight away: amyjtidd@gmail.com. As an extra incentive on orders of £45 you will recieve one of four 'DSP' packs for FREE and i will also offer you FREE P&P TO YOUR HOME! - usually £4.95 (Free P&P offer is exclusive to CraftyThINKer customers and not a Stampin' Up! national offer)

Riding Hood Red Milk Carton!
Hi everyone! Hope you are all ok! It's almost the weekend and it is almost the end of my trip. I leave Tanzania on the 1st of August and arrive back in the UK on the 2nd. I can't wait to share with you pictures of my adventures!!
Today i have a 'Milk Carton' box, that i have created using my 'Big Shot' and the 'Mini Milk Carton Die'. This box has been made from the beautiful 'Riding Hood Red' cardstock:
Once constucting the box (a little hint - make sure you stick it together with red sticky tape - otherwise it will ping open!) i ran a strip of 'Love Letters DSP' around the carton. Next i ran some scraps of 'Riding Hood Red Cardstock' through the 'Big Shot' with the 'Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die' and glued them on, embellishing them with some 'Basic Pearls'. Finally i punched some holes at the top of the carton with my 'Crop-a-Dile', ran some organza ribbon through and attached a tag, made from 'Basic Black' card and the 'Tag Punch', which was decorated by stamping some 'Very Vanilla' cardstock with the small medallion shaped stamp from the 'Artistic Etchings' stampset (notice how it coordinates with the 'Love Letters DSP'.

Back to Work Rush!
First day back to work after the Easter hols and what a busy day it has been! There is no way that i'm going to have a chance to get my craft gear out tonight and have a play as i have far too much marking to do! Not long now until A Level exams, so full steam ahead with mock marking!! Fortunately for you i was very crafty in the holidays and predicted that this would be the case. So today i'm sharing with you a card that i made a couple of weeks ago (during my crafty day with Sal!)
This card is completely CASE'd from Julie Davidson's blog, using the wonderful 'Just Believe' stamp set. The colours used are 'Soft Suede', 'Pear Pizzazz' and 'Garden Green'. The Ribbon used it this project is the wonderfully versatile 'Whisper White' 'Organza Ribbon'. You could, of course use any sentiment, as this card is very versatile and would suit either a male or female recipient. When making cards without purpose i nearly always make thank you cards as there's always a need for them!!

The Mini Catalogue is Here ... and there's a new BIG SHOT in town!!
I'm so excited! Finally the Mini Catalogue is here and it includes lots and lots of AMAZING NEW PRODUCTS for us all to fall in love with!!
Probably the biggest and most exciting item in the catalogue is the 'Sizzix Big Shot' for Stampin' Up! The 'Big Shot' is a sturdy manual die cutting machine used to die cut materials for use on crafts on all your craft projects. You'll love what the 'Big Shot' machine can do for you!
The use of this die is endless!! But the most obvious use for this 'Die' is for wedding favours!! You can cut out five of these at a time! So all of a sudden a time consuming task becomes a very speedy process! The 'Big Shot' machine cuts out the shape, scores the box and creates perforated lines all in an instant! They are so quick to construct! Heres a close up of each of these boxes with a brief description of each:
This first pillow box uses 'Basic Black' cardstock. I have used the 'Bella Toile' background stamp and white embossing powder to create the design. This pillow box has been finished with some 'Whisper White Organza Ribbon'
This second pillow box uses 'Bashful Blue' cardstock. The flower has been constructed by gluing alternating 'Scallop punches' of 'Bashful Blue and 'Early Espresso' card, with a 'Basic Rhinestone' placed in the middle. This box has been finished with a small snip of 'Early Espresso' 'Satin Ribbon. I have also edged the box with a 'Sponge Dauber' and 'Early Espresso' ink!
This final pillow box is using 'Rose Red' card stock. The butterfly has been stamped on 'Whisper White' cardstock using the stamps from the 'Flight of the Butterfly' stampset, using 'Pink Pirouette' and 'Rose Red'. The butterfly has been embellished with some 'Basic Pearls' and i have used a '2-way glue pen' and some 'Dazzling Diamond' glitter to bling it up! The box has been finished off using some 'Whisper White' Satin Ribbon!
I hope that these projects have got you as excited about the mini catalogue as i am! All the products in there are beautiful - I WANT THEM ALL! I will be sharing with you lots of projects using some of these products over the coming weeks! So please keep visiting my blog!! Have a good weekend! xxx
