Tying Up The Loose ends of Christmas!

Hi all! It's New Years Eve! Have you got any plans?! We're off to a fancy dress party this evening at a friends house! So i thought it would be a good idea today to tie up all the loose ends of Christmas... i have a few crafty things to share with you from Christmas.

First a card that my good friend Lucy made for her boyfriend Tim for Christmas. She came around and used my craft stash to make it, but i was under strict instructions not to post her masterpiece on my blog until after Christmas. So here it is:

Lucy started with a 'Whisper White' Card base. She layered some 'Old Olive DSP' on the front of the card. She then ran some 'Whisper White' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Top Note Die'. She then stamped the cute little penguins and the Christmas Trees from the fab 'Polar Party' stampset ontot he 'Top Note' and coloured them in using 'Stampin' Write Markers' and various inks and 'Blender Pens'. She punched out a small heart from some 'Real Red' card to place inbetween the penguins and created some mistletoe using  'Old Olive' card and the bramch part from the 'Two-Step Bird Punch'. The berries were created using some 'Basic Pearls'! Isn't it a super cute card!!

I also have the other card totes that i made for our grandparents for Christmas gifts. They took me ages to make and here they are all finished:

'DSP' used for this project is from the 'Cheerful Treat' DSP set!

'DSP' used from the 'Brights Collection'
'DSP' used from the 'Holly Berry Bouquet DSP' collection
The card totes were very well recieved! Everyone was very happy with their gifts and i really hope they find them useful! Check back to my later posts to see how these totes were made!

Anyway, wishing you all a very happy 2012! Happy New Year!!

Christmas Up-Date and Crafty Boots Challenge: Celebrations!

Hi guys! Did you have a fab Christmas?! I certainly did! Probably one of the best ones ever! It was completely relaxing! We hosted a Christmas party for our friends on the 23rd December - a really fun fancy dress party!! Here's a pic of me and my hubby! I dressed up as one of Santas elfs and my hubby originally planned to be the Grinch, but ended up being the hulk at Christmas!!:

On Christmas day i was very excited to see that Santa had been and i recieved lots of lovely presents, including lots and lots of sweets and chocolate!!:

We spent lots of time with family and Santa even stopped by to give us some more gifts!!

All in all , a perfect Christmas!!! Hope you guys had a fab one too!!

Now, back to the crafting: with all the fun of Christmas i had a very brief crafting break - but now i'm back! And back with the last Crafty Boots Challenge of 2011. So make sure you get involved! The last theme of this year is 'Celebrations'. Here's my DT entry:

This card has been made using new 'In Colours' - 'Wisteria Wonder' and 'Calypso coral', as well as a little bit of 'Whisper White' cardstock' and some 'Daffodil Delight DSP'. The sentiment is from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset. I have used my 'Big Shot' and the 'Perfect Pennants Die', as well as the '1-3/4" Circle Punch' to create this card. As well as a brand new punch that will be released very early in the New Year!!

As i have used Strippy 'DSP' on this design i thought i'd enter it into the 'Daring CardMakers Challenge' - it's been a while since i entered any cards into any challenges and it is most definately a new years resolution of mine to get more involved!

Thats right! 2012 sees the launch of a new catalogue and the annual Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration promotion that occurs every year!! There will be some fab incentives for joining up as a demonstrator during this time too, so if you're interested in joining the team drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Also if you live in the UK and don't currently have a Stampin' Up! seller and would like me to post a copy of the new mini catologue and sale-a-bration leaflet email me your address and i'll pop them in the post! Email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Christmas Cards From My Crafty Friends: Part 2!

So following on from my last post i have more Christmas cards that some of my lovely crafty friends have handcrafted for me. So here you go:

Card from Jade:

Jade is another fellow Stampin' Up! demo and over the last couple of months has become a really good friend of mine! She always has fantastic ideas and this card really demonstrates that! She started off with a 'Whisper White' base and layered a piece of 'Elegant Eggplant' card on it, with the beautiful family image (from the 'Welcome Christmas' stampset) 'Clear Embossed' on the corner. Next she ripped a piece of 'Marina Mist' card (which she has embossed using the 'Big Shot' and a non-Stampin' Up! embossing folder'. She wrapped some 'Pear Pizzazz' 'Seaming Ribbon' around it and glued it down. The 'Merry Christmas' sentiment was stamped in 'Elegant Eggplant' ink onto 'Whisper White' card, she punched it out using the '1-3/8" Circle Punch' and then layered onto a 'Pear Pizzazz' 'Scallop Circle'.

I just love this card and the colour combo that Jade has used!! Jade is in Sri Lanka this Christmas. I'm following her travels on her travel blog! She has a fab crafty blog too and she has scheduled posts whilst she was away - so why not check it out: http://www.jadedcrafter.blogspot.com/ I'm wishing Jade a very safe trip and can't wait until she gets back and we can have some crafty sessions in 2012!!

Next up i have a couple of other cards made by friends of mine (non - Stampin' Up! Shock horror!!!) So here you go...

Card from Zoe:

Zoe is a fellow member of the Crafty Boots Challenge DT! and it was lovely of her to post be this beautiful card. Now, i'm afraid i don't know what  products and techniques she has used but i'm sure you'll agree a fab make!! Definately cheered me up recieving this beautiful card in the post! Zoe has a fab blog so why not check it out: http://craftygasheadzo.blogspot.com/

Finally i have a card made by a wonderfully craft work colleague of mine, Helen:

I'm in complete awe of Helens talent! She is always talking about new crafty techniques she has tried and tested and apparently she has the most amazing craft stash. We still haven't managed to catch up and craft and we definately have to fix a date in the calender for early 2012!! I have so much to learn! Again, i think you'll agree this is such a beautiful card - i just love the big red lush ribbon bow!!!

I feel so lucky to have such crafty and talented friends!!! I just love recieving handcrafted cards!! Thankyou lovely ladies!!!

Christmas Cards From My Crafty Friends!!! Part 1!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... i'd actually scheduled this for last night, but for some reason the post didn't materialise?! So you'll get two posts today to compensate!!

I'm so lucky to have so many crafty friends and some them have put some time aside to craft some beautiful christmas cards to send to me!! I love recieving Christmas cards - and they're one of my most favourite christmas decorations! They instantly makes a room look beautifully christmassy!!

So i thought over the next couple of blog posts i'd share these with you!!! So here you go:

Card from Sally:

Sally is a fellow Stampin' up! demo and very good friend of mine and she sent me this beautiful card. I just love Sal's style!! She has started with a 'Cherry Cobbler' cardbase, she has made a beautiful bow from some Stampin' Up! 'Crochet Trim Ribbon' along the bottom. The N,O,E,L have been stamped using the 'Broadsheet Alphabet' stampset using 'Cherry Cobbler' ink onto 'Whisper White' card. She punched them out using the '1-3/8" Circle Punch' and then layered them onto some 'Scallop Circles' punched out of 'Holly Berry Bouquet DSP'. I just love this design! Thankyou so much Sally!!

Card from Ruth:

Ruthie is a really good friend of mine (and Stampin' Up! customer) and she made me this beautiful card! She used a 'Whisper White' cardbase. She stamped the bauble from the 'Contempo Christmas' in 'Cherry Cobbler' ink, she punched it out using the 'Ornament Punch'. She layered it on a piece of 'Very Vanilla' and then on a piece of 'Tempting Turquoise' card. She stamped the christmas sentiment (also from the 'Contempo Christmas' set in 'Tempting Turquoise' ink. She finished off the card by punching a strip of 'Tempting Turquoise' using the 'Ribbon Lace Punch'.

I think you'll agree that these cards are amazing!! It's lovely to have such talented crafty friends that give me inspiration!!

Keep a look out for my other post of today, where i will share with you even more the handcrafted cards i have recieved!!

Schools out for Christmas!!! Woo hoo!

It's official! It's Christmas!! Today was the last day of term - so just 1/2 a day of teaching, followed by christmas nibbles and then a lovely pub lunch and a spot of christmas shopping with my good friends Ruth and Hannah!!!

Today i have a smaller version of the card that i shared with you on Tuesday:

This cardbase has been made from some 'Whisper White' cardstock. I punched lots of branches (using the 'Two-Step Bird Punch') from 'Old Olive' card, as well as lots of flowers (using the 'Boho Blossom Punch') from 'Rich Razzleberry' card. All of these pieces were arranged on the card before gluing them down, with some 'Basic Pearls' placed in the centre of each flower! The sentiment was stamped from 'Rich Razzleberry' ink using 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset. Finally i ran some 'Rich Razzleberry' 'DSP' through the 'Big Shot' using 'Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die' to create the cute butterflies and placed some teeny tiny  'Basic Pearls' to create their bodies!!

This was another card i made to pop in the card totes that i'm giving away as Christmas gifts!!!

Have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Butterfly Card!

Oh, it's so near to the end of the Christmas term! Just one more day to go! I've had a lovely day today, some teaching during the day and then out for a scrummy meal with a group of students who volunteer in a local primary school reading mentor scheme that i help run!

However it is a bit Christmas overload at the mo so it is nice to share a non-Christmas card with you today. this is one of the cards that i made to pop in the card tote that i sent off to Spain for my hubby's grandparents for Christmas:

This card is a 'Very Vanilla' cardbase. I ran some 'Rich Razzleberry' 'DSP' through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die' to create the butterfly. I glued this onto a square of 'Old Olive' card and then mounted that onto a 'Rich Razzleberry one and then glued this onto the cardbase. On a seperate scrap of 'Very Vanilla' card i stamped the sentiment (from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset) using 'Rich Razzleberry' ink. I punched this out using a 'Decorative Label Punch' and then mounted this onto some 'Old Olive' decorative labels to create a bordered effect. I punched two holes into it using the 'Crop-a-dile' and threaded some 'Rich Razzleberry' 'Grosgrain Ribbon' through and stuck it in place using some super red 'Sticky Tape'. I added a couple of 'Basic Pearls' onto the butterfly for a little bit of bling!!

Hope you like! Have a lovely evening - stay in the warm - it's pretty chilly out there - it may even snow!!!

Rainbows Christmas Workshop: 1st Gomshall, Peaslake and Shere Rainbows

Phew!! What a busy day!! I had a full day of teaching (all steam ahead in preperation for the January exams) and then straight off to 1st Gomshall, Peaslake and Shere Rainbows for a Christmas workshop!!!

It was the girls final meeting before Christmas and so i planned some christmas crafts for them to enjoy! They were all so creative and many of them adapted my original designs which i always love seeing!

It was a real challenge designing projects suitable for 5-7 year olds but i think it went well! All the girls seemed to have lots of fun making a christmas card, a cute little giftbox and some reindeer poop!!! Here's the projects:
First the Raindeer Poop:
A 'Real Red' 'Top Note' created using the 'Big Shot'. I typed the 'Reindeer Poop' label out on the computer and printed it on some 'Very Vanilla' cardstock, stamped the reindeer stamp in 'Soft Suede' ink (from a retired set - although you could use the 'Dasher' stamp from the current catalogue) and glued it on. I popped some chocolate (in this case some chocolate covered honeycomb) into a cellophane bad along with a Reindeer Poop poem (printed on 'Very Vanilla' card) and then stuck the topper on using some super 'Red Sticky Tape') The girls loved this project!!!
Next project was this cute 'Cherry Cobbler' 'Pillow Box' cute out using the 'big shot'. We wrapped some 'Old Olive' 'Satin Ribbon' around the 'Pillow Box'. Next we stamped the cute little penguin from the 'Polar Party' set in 'Basic Black ink. We coloured in his hat and scarf, beak and feet and then punched him out using the 'Scallop Circle Punch'. We stuck this onto the box using some 'Dimensionals'. Finally we popped a chocolate or two in them!!! The girls enjoyed that bit!!!

Final project was a Christmas card!! A 'Very Vanilla' cardbase. The Christmas tree has been made from some 'Old Olive' card that has been ran through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Perfect Pennants Die'. We decorated the tree using lots of stickers (non Stampin' Up!) The trunk was made from a little strip of 'Soft Suede' and the pot was made from some 'Real Red' card. The girls all created very different trees and even decorated their envelopes!!
All in all we had a very lovely crafty time!!! Do you run a club or group who would like to do some crafting? E-mail me for some details of how to organise a workshop: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Happy 60th Birthday Card!!!

Hi all, i hope you're all having a great week and enjoying the countdown to Christmas!! Sorry for the late post today but i have been super busy prepping for a craft workshop that i'm doing for a local Rainbows group tomorrow!!

Today i have a card to share with you that was made on Sunday - you may have remembered from Sundays post that i had a really crafty day with Jade in the morning and my friend Lucy in the afternoon. This card was designed by Jade and then made by Lucy!!

This card has been created by folding over an A4 piece of 'Whisper White' cardstock. We punched lots of branches (using the 'Two-Step Bird Punch' from 'Old Olive' card, as well as lots of flowers (using the 'Boho Blossom Punch') from 'Rich Razzleberry' card. All of these pieces were arranged on the card before gluing them down, with some 'Basic Pearls' placed in the centre of each flower!

The 60 has been created using my 'Big Shot' and the 'Timeless Alphabet Dies', from 'Rich Razzleberry' Card. The 'Happy', 'Birthday' and 'th' have all been selectively stamped onto the card using a 'Rich Razzleberry' 'Stampin' Write Marker' and a stamp from the 'Happiest Birthday' set.

Finally we can some 'Rich Razzleberry' 'DSP' through the 'Big Shot' using 'Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die' to create the cute butterflies and placed some teeny tiny  'Basic Pearls' to create their bodies!!

Lucy is a primary school teacher and this card has been made to give to her headmistress for her birthday and will be signed by all the staff! I hope they all like the card!! Well done Lucy - it is a beautiful card - i'll make a crafter of you yet! And thanks once again to Jade for designing a card that i will be making again and again!!!

I placed a piece of 'Cherry Cobbler' in a 'Cello Bag' and placed all four candles in the bag. Next i ran some 'Cherry Cobbler' card through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Top Note Die', i folded it in half and glued a strip of 'Holly Berry Bouquet DSP'. I stamped the 'a gift for you' stamp from the 'Beautiful Season' set, in 'Early Espresso' ink onto 'Whisper White' card. I coloured the holly in using some 'Old Olive' ink and a 'Blender Pen', as well as a 'Cherry Cobbler' 'Stampin' Write Marker'. I punched the stamp out using the coordinating punch and glued it on!

Here is another example with a topper made using some 'Pear Pizzazz' Card:

I started with a 'Melon Mambo' cardbase on which i layered some 'Melon Mambo' 'DSP' I stamped the balloon image from the 'Ain't Love Grand' stampset, using 'Melon Mambo' ink onto some 'Whisper White' card. I coloured it in using a 'Pretty in Pink' 'Stampin' Write Marker'. I mounted it onto some 'Pretty in Pink' card. The 'on your birthday' sentiment was selectively inked (using a 'Melon Mambo' 'Stampin' Write Marker') using a stamp from the 'Happiest Birthday Wishes' stampset. I also mounted this on 'Pretty in Pink' card!

Sponge Dauber Robin Card!

It's Friday everyone!! woo hoo! and it is starting to feel like christmas! Tonight is my work christmas party!

Today i have another crimbo design for you that has been created using the 'Two Step Bird Punch' to create a 'Sponge Dauber' robin!!

I punched the bird out using the punch from some 'Whisper White' card. I used a 'Sponge Dauber' to colour the robin in with some 'Soft Suede' and 'Real Red' ink. I used a 'Dimensional' to raise the wing and used a 'Basic Black' 'Stampin' Write Marker' to draw on his eye. I also punched two branches out from some 'old Olive ink.

Next i got a rectange of 'Whisper White' card. I stamped the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from the 'Contempo Christmas' stampset, in 'Real Red' ink on the bottom right corner. I ran this through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Square Lattice Embossing Folder', mounted it onto some 'Real Red' card, glued the robin and branches onto this and then placed it all onto an 'Old Olive' cardbase.

I hope you're getting all organised for christmas! I have lots of shopping still to get, as well as wrapping up lots of gifts!! I'm really starting to look forward to it! How are you getting on with all your preperations?!

Have a fab weekend! Amyxxx

Elegant Dasher!!!

Hi all, hope you're all having a good week. I've had a super busy one - with 2 parents evenings - i'm so tired and most definately on the countdown to the Christmas hols!

Today i have another christmas card design to share with you created using the lovely 'Dasher' stamp:

A 'Very Vanilla' cardbase stamped with the 'Merry Christmas' sentiment (in 'Real Red' ink) from the 'Contempo Christmas' stampset, with a strip of the lovely, glittery 'Holly Berry Bouquet DSP' across the middle. On a seperate piece of 'Very Vanilla' i stamped the 'Dasher' stamp in 'Real Red'. I mounted this onto 'Real Red' card and then glued that over the strip of 'DSP'.

Another super quick design to make. It's not too late to get crafting and make some crimbo cards!! I'd love to see what you come up with!!

More Quick and Easy Christmas Cards!

Hi all, hope you're having a good week. It's been pretty manic for me - two parents evenings - thank god i'm counting down to christmas!! I'm shattered!!

Today i have some more nice and quick christmas cards that have been made using 'Real Red', 'Old Olive' and 'Whisper White' card, 'Real Red' and 'Old Olive' ink and the fabby 'Contempo Christmas' set - although you could use any christmas stampset to create the same effect. These cards are the same design as yesterdays blog offering, but instead of using the bauble image it uses the beautifully elegant christmas tree image instead:

I created the card in reverted colours too:

These cards are so quick and easy that i literally made a large batch in less than an hour - so it's not too late to create your own handmade cards! I just need to find time now to write them all out and pop some in the post!! I'd love to see your handmade crimbo cards, especially if you have used Stampin' Up! materials - why not email over a pic of your designs!! amyjtidd@gmail.com

Quick and Simple Christmas Cards!

Ok, so we are well and truely in December now - if you haven't made your cards you really don't have time left... so here is a nice and quick card design for you - that you could customise to any christmas image stamp you already have:

This card is very easily created using the 'Contempo Christmas' stammpset. You stamp one bauble in 'Real Red' onto a 'Whisper White' rectangle' and then randomly stamp 'Old Olive' baubles around it. Stamp the sentiment (also from the 'Contempo Christmas' stampset) in the corner. This was then mounted onto a 'Real Red' cardbase.

Here is a copy of the card with the colours reversed:

These cards are so quick and easy to create - so don't worry it's not too late to get stamping and make some christmas cards of your own! Check back tomorrow for another quick christmas card design!

Card Commission: 1st Birthday Thankyou Cards!

I love sharing my craftiness with others and recently a college pal of mine, Jen asked if i could design a card to thank her friends and family who celebrated her daughter Emily's first birthday with them! I was given free reign and told that Emily loved pink and purple so i instantly plumped for a 'Melon Mambo' and 'Wisteria Wonder' colour combo.

With a lot of patience Jen stamped her daughters foot with some purple paint. I scanned it into my computer and then printed it onto 'Whisper White' card stock. (Stampin' Up! card stock is fab to print on!!) I cut these out and then stamped a thank you sentiment (from a retired set) in the top left hand corner using 'Melon Mambo' ink. I mounted this onto some 'Wisteria Wonder' and then placed this onto a 'Melon Mambo' card base.

We originally planned to pop 'Peppa Pig' in the corner as it's Emily's favourite character, however another friend Ruth took this beautiful picture of Emily on her birthday wearing her beautiful party dress and it just had to feature on the card, so i printed it out and mounted it again onto some 'Wisteria Wonder' card stock and raised it using some 'Dimensionals'.

I hope Jen and Emily are happy with the final design and cards! It's always such a privilege to design and make cards like this. They're such a lovely keepsake of children's milestones and so much more personal that some shop-brought thank you cards. Customised cards start at just £1 a card, so why not drop me an email to discuss your own design needs: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Just before i go i want to share with you the original 'Peppa Pig' design:

The 'Peppa Pig' was found online and printed onto some 'Whisper White' and then coloured in with 'Pretty in Pink', 'Regal Rose' and 'Tangerine Tango' 'Stampin' Write Markers'.

A perfect Christmas Gift: Another Post-it Gift!

Hi all! Hope you're having a fab weekend so far! After a very long and stressful week at work i have been totally relaxing today! Lots and lots of crafting! I have completed a card commission order of 25 cards (which i will post on here once i have delivered to the client!) and also been working on batches of Christmas cards and one or two gifts! Can't wait to share them all with you!!

Today i have another post-it note gift to share with you. (Look at yesterdays post for details on how to make these)

This post-it gift has been created by Jade using some lovely 'Melon Mambo' card, which has been randomly stamped with the cute little crown image from the 'Clearly For You' stamp set, using 'Rich Razzleberry' ink. Jade stamped another little crown onto a small square of 'Whisper White', as well as the 'friend' and 'things' sentiment selectively inked from the 'Just Believe' set. This was mounted on some 'Melon Mambo' 'DSP', then layered onto a larger 'Whisper White' (again randomly stamped with crowns!) and then just finally mounted onto a 'Melon Mambo' 'DSP' square! Jade blinged it up with some (non-stampin' up) diamantes - but you can of course use some 'Basic Rhinestones'.

Here's the open product:

So why not get your crafting kit out and make a few of these for stocking fillers or gifts for friends?! You can of course change colours/ designs depending on the recipient!!

If you like the look of the stamp sets featured - why not buy yourself an early christmas pressie! Email me over your order today: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Post-it Gift!!

Today I have post it note holder to share with you that has been designed and made by a crafty friend of mine: Jade and they're such a fantastic gift/ stocking filler!! The great thing is you can make 3 from an A4 sheet of cardstock!!  Full details of dimensions can be found  on Jades blog: here.

Jade used 'Basic Black' cardstock for the base. She used the 'leafy' image from the 'Just Believ'e stampset has been inked in 'Marina Mist' and stamped 3 times along the base of a 'Whisper White' square and then mounted on a square of 'DSP'.  The sentiment is also from the 'Just Believe' set, but she only inked the 'for you' part.

The little pen was brought very cheaply and inside she has popped at post-it pad:

Isn't this a fab idea?! Perfect to have by the phone to make a quick note and the fact it uses so little card stock it is a really cheap make!!! Why not have a go at making some of these and giving them to work colleagues this christmas!! I know i will be!! I'd love to see your designs!!

Pinch Punch, 1st of the Month!

Hi all. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk! It's December! Can you believe it! I cannot believe how manic things are at the mo! We have a parents evening at work tonight and i just haven't had any time for crafting :-(

So today i'm sharing with you a swap that i recieved at a recent Stampin' Up! training event. This card has been designed by my upline Cate:

Cate has worked a fab colour combo here. She has used 'Pool Party' (one of the new 'In Colours) for her cardbase, 'Island Indigo' (another 'In Colour) to create the butterfly using the 'Butterfly Die' using her 'Big Shot' and 'Pumpkin Pie' 'DSP' from the 'Flirtatious DSP' Collection.

Cate has stamped her cardbase with with one of the 'Delicate Doilies' stamps (on stampset most definately on my wishlist!) in 'Pool Party' ink and the butterfly with the same in 'Island Indigo', to co-ordinate. Finally the sentiment comes from the 'Teeny Tiny Wishes' set and punched out using the 'Word Window Punch' and raised using 'Dimensionals'.

I just love this card - and totally want the 'Delicate Doilies' stampset - fingers crossed that i get some christmas pennies and i can treat myself in the new year!!

I'm popping orders through all the time, so if you want to order any of the products featured drop me an email: amyjtidd@gmail.com

I Miss You

Hi all, hope you are all well, i'm super busy at the moment, so much going on but not long til Christmas!!!

Yesterday was a busy day for me, i taught in the morning and then went to the official opening of Alexandra House - a care home for the elderly - named after my late mother in law. I was completely amazing by the quality of the build and the services on offer for the residence who are living there. It was a very proud day for my husband family - and we got to meet a royal - The Duchess of Gloucester - she was such a lovely lady and spent quite some time speaking to us all!!

The card, therefore that i am sharing with you today is somewhat fitting. It features an image and sentiment from the 'Ain't Love Grand' stampset - I Miss You.

I have CASE'd this card directly from the Stampin Up! Catalogue (Page 12) It features a 'Marina Mist' cardbase, a rectangle of 'Whisper White' card (with two corners rounded off using the 'Corner Rounder'), next a thinner strip of 'Pumpkin Pie' 'DSP', snipped at the end, next an even thinner strip of 'So Saffron', card. Finally on a small scrap of 'Whisper White' i stamped the plane and sentiment stamp using 'Basic Black' ink and coloured it in using some 'Certainly Celery' ink and a 'Blender Pen'. I finished the card off with a 'Certainly Celery' 'Designer Button'!

There you go, a nice quick card! Now if you want to get your crafty mits on the 'Ain't Love Grand' stampset you need to either book a workshop in the new year or alternatively order £150 of goodies and you will get it for free! Email me for details: amyjtidd@gmail.com

Just Believe Notelet Gift Box

Last week i shared with you a lovely gift idea - a box with a set of handmade cards featuring the 'Just Believe' stampset. Today i have a similar project - a cute little box with a set of notelets:

Here's a close up of the beautiful box. Created with 'Early Espresso', 'Marina Mist' and 'Whisper White' cardstock:

The image and sentiment are both from the 'Just Believe' stampset, and have been inked in 'Marina Mist' and 'Chocolate Chip', a couple of 'Basic Rhinestones' have been placed in the centre to add a bit of bling!!

Heres a pic of the box open:

This box is known as a pizza box, there are plenty of templates online if you would like to create one of these.

And now for the cute little notelets:

An 'Early Espresso' cardbase, the image has been stamped several times with 'Early Espresso' ink. Some 'Whisper White' 'Satin Ribbon' has been wrapped around. The Friends sentiment has been stamped onto some 'Whisper White' card using 'Early Espresso' and 'Marina Mist' 'Stampin' Write Markers' and then hand-snipped. Finally a teeny tiny 'Basic Rhinestone' has been placed in the centre of the flower.

This second notelet is a 'Crumb Cake' cardbase. The image has been stamped using 'Early Espresso' ink, with some 'Basic Rhinestones' to bling it up! The sentiment was stamped onto some 'Marina Mist' card, punched out using the '1-3/4" Circle Punch', scrunched up a bit and placed on a strip of 'Whisper White' card, edged with the 'Eyelet Border Punch'.
This final notelet has been made from 'Marina Mist', the image (using 'Marina Mist' ink) has been stamped onto 'Whisper White' card, the thankyou sentiment was then inked over it using 'Early Espresso' ink (layering up is easy using a 'Stamp-a-ma-jig') This was layered onto some 'DSP'. The cute little flower was punched out using the 'Boho Blossom Punch', and placed a 'Basic Rhinestone' in the centre.
I think you'll agree this little notelet box gift is another fab project showcasing the 'Just Believe' stampset. A Stampin' Up! colleague of mine Jade came up with this super little project - isn't she clever!!!
