Become a Stampin Up! Demo!

Join My Team!
Thinking of joining the Stampin' Up Family?
Congratulations on your interest in Stampin’ Up!  Here is some more information for you about becoming a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator…..
To sign up with Stampin’ Up! you need to do so through another Demonstrator, who is called your up-line.  In the UK, there are more than 700 Demonstrators now, so why should you choose me?
Well………I’m a positive, enthusiastic person who has a passion to create and share that with others. I love rubber-stamping and all of the co-ordinating products that Stampin’ Up! provide. I'm a member of a reasonably new - but popular craft challenge blog - Crafty Boots Challenges and have a daily updated blog to share plenty of ideas that you can then pass on to your customers!! By signing up with me, you would become part of the CraftyThINKers team, but will also benefit from training events offered by my upline Cate Terry (Blue Angel Crafts) as well as my uplines, upline (Natalie O Shea) She runs a team called Stampin' Stars and she provides uswith all the help and support we need, including a blog with regular information bulletins, as well as a bi-monthly telephone conference call informing us of new deals and ideas to maximise sales!!
Whether your goals are to just support your paper-crafting or stamping habit, or you want to build a successful business, I am here to help.  If you want to sign up just for the discounts and never run workshops, that is fine - you can join and get a great discount for you and your family and friends.

I would love you to join my team for the friendship, support, inspiration and above all, the fun we share. Here are the answers to some Frequently Asked Questions:
What will I do as a demonstrator?
You will share your love of paper crafting, creating cards, gifts or scrapbook pages with family and friends. You can do this through running home workshops, classes, events or even on a one to one basis. If you choose to, you will also help others enjoy the fun and flexibility of running their own Stampin’ Up! business.
Will I receive support and training as a demonstrator?
By joining, you will become part of my team and I’ll provide you with all the help and support you need but you also get support from Stampin’ Up! too:
  •  A password protected demonstrator website which has lots of resources, patterns, template libraries and an on-line ordering system.
  • A full colour monthly magazine called Impressions with creative and business ideas just for demonstrators.
  • A free phone number to contact the knowledgeable and friendly Demonstrator Support team.
  • An achievable incentive program for income and awards if you choose to aspire to them.
  • Regular local field training dates throughout the year.
How will I make money as a demonstrator?
Since customers pay you directly, you will keep 20% of each order placed at the time of payment, this is called “Instant Income”. You can earn additional money through Volume Rebates when your monthly sales are £200 and above. If you build a team, you can also earn monthly downline overrides as well.
Do people really make money at this?
YES!! Depending on how much time you want to put into “your” business, you can make whatever income you desire! It is totally up to you!
Do I have to recruit other demonstrators?
Of course not!! Having a downline is not a requirement, it is a perk - we have the opportunity to earn a commission based on our Downline’s sales! However, it is also a responsibility.  You will need to support your team and give them training to help them achieve their goals.
What are the minimum sales requirements?
To renew your Demonstrator Benefits, you will need to sell a minimum of £225 (catalogue price) per three months. Most demonstrators find that this goal can be reached in one or two workshops per quarter – or with their own purchases.  Your first quarter target doesn’t start until the quarter following the quarter that you join. i.e. if you join on 1 October, you do not have to have met your first minimum target until 31 MARCH!! – so it can actually be nearly six months to start with.
What if I only want to do this as a hobby? Do I still have to do workshops?
Absolutely not!! Stampin’ Up! supports all demonstrators in the same way, regardless of how big or small their business is -  you only need to do workshops if you want to. You can put in your own orders or collect orders from family & friends.
Do I have to hold stocks of product?
No. You will only order items when someone places an order and pays you in advance, so you won’t need to keep stock of products and no chasing payment either.
How much does it cost to get started?
The starter kit is £99 and you choose exactly what you want in it! You select £99 of materials from the catalogue and on top of that you recieve all the business products you need to get started such as order forms etc...
What if I decide it’s not for me once I’ve started? Will I be penalised if I quit?
You simply stop placing orders. If you don’t meet the minimum quarterly requirement, you just “resign” - no questions asked! Well, apart from to check that you are okay :).
What kind of incentives will I receive as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator?
  • As a new demonstrator, you will have the opportunity to earn unlimited free stamp sets during your first six months for your sales and recruiting achievements.
  • You receive a 30% instant income on your first workshop order of £150 or more if you place it within 45 days of signing up.
  • You have the ability to be your own “hostess” and earn free hostess sets and products on your own personal orders or orders that you collect from others.
  • You can also work to achieve the annual incentive trip!
Where do I get ideas for my workshops?
Stampin’ Up! has many resources for demonstrators, including the Idea Book & Catalogue, a great monthly magazine, a fantastic website for demonstrators only, a DVD in the starter kit, and much more. You will also have my help, support and training too.
Are there any Stampin’ Up! events that I can attend as a new demonstrator?
Yes, Field Training Events happen a couple of times throughout the year.  You also get to go to the annual convention which is next held in November 2012 in Mainz, Germany!  You will gain access to Natalies bi-monthly conference calls which are great fun and it is great to meet up with like minded people who understand whether in person or over the phone.
