Happy Grandparent Day!

Today was grandparent day! So today me and Xander travelled around to visit as many of his grandparents as possible and of course we hand delivered some handmade cards all created using my trusty 'Owl Punch'.

Here's the card I made for my mum and stepdad (who is a Saints fan!):



On a 'Real Red' cardbase I layered some 'Crumb Cake' card which I had run through the 'Big Shot' using the 'Framelit Dies'. I created the owls using the 'Owl Punch' and 'Chocolate Chip', 'Crumb Cake', Regal Rose', 'Real Red' and 'Whisper White' card.

And here's the card I made for my nan:



A 'Regal Rose' cardbase with a piece of 'Whisper White' layered ontop. The owl was created using the 'Owl Punch' from 'Chocolate Chip', 'Crumb Cake' and 'Regal Rose' card. The sentiment was handwritten using a 'Regal Rose' 'Stampin' Write Marker'.

    I love the owl and the 'Saints' version is fab! I do have a soft spot for Southampton as we (Bristol Rovers) sold our much loved Rickie Lambert to them! I have been to St Mary's twice, the first time was amazing as we won 2-3 with a late winner, I'll forget the results after that! Lol Zo xx
